If we were to talk about stem cells, its benefits of delaying aging to rejuvenate and prevent certain diseases probably come to mind. Learn more about the benefits of stem cells to help you decide on whether to use stem cells as a rejuvenation treatment alternative in the future. What benefits do stem cells have and what kind of diseases can it treat? Answering all your queries here!

1. How do stem cells help to protect and rejuvenate the body?

  • Stem cells stimulate the creation of new tissues and blood vessels.

One of the main functions of stem cells is the division of new cells to replace damaged ones, where stem cell injection into the body helps to replace old, damaged cells, or can transform into cells for various organs in the body such as muscle cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, pancreatic cells, and nerve cells.

  • Stem cells help to reduce inflammation in the body

Stem cell injection helps the body secrete Interleukin and Cytokine, which helps to inhibit inflammations, and slow down deterioration from severe diseases caused by inflammations such as autoimmune diseases. Furthermore, stem cell injections to the knee joints help to reduce inflammation and pain from deterioration.

  • Stem cells help to delay aging and repair deterioration of the body

In terms of beauty, stem cells can also be used as an anti-aging treatment by repairing and restoring deteriorated cells through area-specific stem cell injections, such as injecting stem cells into the face to help reduce wrinkles, dark spots, freckles, and blemishes as it stimulates the creation of collagen and new cells. Alternatively, stem cells can be injected into the scalp to stimulate the hair root growth, or help the hair to appear thicker and stronger.

2. Different types of stem cells rejuvenate the body in different ways

Medical studies have found that stem cells can be collected from various sources, where the way in which it is utilized will vary according to where it is collected from. What can stem cells help with? Let's find out together:

  • Stem cells from cord blood (CB) are stem cells collected from the blood which help with rehabilitating diseases related to the circulatory system such as leukemia and thalassemia.
  • Stem cells from cord tissue (CT) or MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells) have the ability to divide into various types of cells in the body. Therefore, it is often used on people with degenerative diseases or conditions such as osteoarthritis, damaged knee articular cartilage, diabetes mellitus, as well as rehabilitation for diseases related to the immune system, liver, nerves, muscles, and endocrine glands, etc.
  • Stem cells from the amnion tissue (AT) can transform into various types of tissue cells, and is suitable for all recipients (where you do not have to be related or from the same family). It has the ability to help rehabilitate diseases related to the liver, brain, and nervous system, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and spinal injuries.
  • Stem cells from the placenta contains many important enzymes and biological substances such as genetic material, RNA, DNA, peptides, amino acids, proteins, and fats which help to rehabilitate and prevent diseases related to the hormonal system, balance hormone levels (particularly during menopause/andropause), and also helps benefit the immune system as well.
