What are Stem Cells?

Stem Cells are the origin of all cells. They can proliferate themselves and turn into specialized cells.

There are 2 types of Stem Cells, categorized by mitosis process

Types of Stem Cells

Mesenchymal Stem Cell

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) come from two sources: cord tissue mesenchymal stem cells and amniotic tissue mesenchymal stem cells. This type of stem cells can be successfully donated regardless of blood relations.

Hematopoietic Stem Cell

Hematopoietic Stem Cells are derived from umbilical cord blood. They can only be used to treat blood diseases if a blood cell compatibility test confirms a match between the donor and the recipient.

Only stem cells that meet the standards can be considered high-quality

Not all stem cells are created equal. Receiving subpar stem cells can not only hinder treatment progress, but also harm the body.

High-quality stem cells must possess the following qualities:

They must only be from world-class stem cell laboratories or stem cell banks.

They must pass the selection criteria. Only the selected high-quality Mesenchymal Stem Cells can be stored and cultured.

They must be cells that have already divided an optimal number of times. If stem cells are derived from cells that have divided too many times, they might be too aged, too enlarged, and prone to cause unintended side-effects.

A high-quality stem cells are cultured with high-quality serum essence. They contain less allergen when compared to those cultured with animal or plant products.

They must come with quality assurance certificate that ensures sterility of the cells.
